International Women's Day

For decades, not to mention centuries, the discriminations a woman faces in society are countless. For her right to vote to the right to live the life she wants. Many battles have taken place from thousands of women all around the world so all little girls can be everything they have ever dreamed of. Some battles were lost and some won. We, women, must not count the lost ones but gain strength to fight all the battles that are yet to come. The road is tough but using our minds and voice, we can accomplish anything. United and strong. And as Maya Angelou said “I am grateful to be a woman. I must have done something great in another life”.
Indicatively, we are referring to four great women:

Marie Curie the only woman to win 2 Nobel Prizes in science.
Frida Kahlo a painter full of light despite the difficulties he faced.
Maya Aggelou was an American poet, singer, novelist, and civil rights activist.
Manto Mavrogenous  Greek fighter of the Greek Revolution of 1821.
